Customer reviews: The boot is a nice, thick, silicone. I love the weave pattern on the outside, and it’s smooth on the inside. It even has a tiny hole on the bottom so when you’re sliding it on your tumbler the air can escape (I have some other boots that don’t have a hole and it’s a pain to get them on because air gets trapped).

This set of 2 silicone ‘boots’ are great. They don’t need to be shaped because they just go onto the bottom of the tumbler and fit like a glove. I hand wash so I don’t know how they’ll do in a dishwasher. No more coasters. No more water stains. My wood furniture is protected. Couldn’t be happier. by strauss1026

Customer reviews: This sleeve is much taller than those made for the bottom of hydroflask type water bottles and I prefer the silicone to other sleeves made of neoprene. Not as expected
I also like the thickness of the silicone, and how easily it slips on and off the jar, without falling off when in use. I purchased this to use to heat liquids in the microwave, so that I don’t burn myself or drop the container getting it in and out of the microwave. It works perfectly for that task. It would also work fine for keeping drinks cold, and reducing condensation when using a mason jar as a drinking glass. Great for using mason jars in the Microwave by Erica Rowe
Then I poured my hot water in, let my loose leaf tea steep, and when I came back it was too hot for me to hold comfortably. This isn’t an issue with the neoprene sleeves.
Love that it’s microwaveable, exactly what i was hoping for. Only con is that it struggles with Kerr jars, Ball brand slides on an off with ease. Love It.
To be honest, this thing costs a bomb. It costs much more than the ball jar it is supposed to protect. However the silicone is thick, it covers a wide mouth pint jar at all the right places, and with toddlers running amok in the house I do appreciate having a peace of mind not waking up in panic to the sound of broken glass in the morning. I match it with a wide mouth flip top lid so that I can enjoy my boba drinks plastic guilt-free. I would begrudgingly repurchase, here’s to hoping it won’t stretch out of shape anytime soon! On the price side but does it’s job well
The silicone can be insanely hard to get off, I almost broke a jar struggling with it, and it still has just as much condensation and soaks my work area. Had to return. Want to love this but it falls short
