Thyme essential oil is derived from a small, aromatic shrub. Thought to impart courage, thyme sprigs were given to warriors before they went into battle. Thyme was also often placed beneath pillows before resting. Sold both fresh and dried, thyme has a history of use in wellness practices but is commonly known for its culinary applications.

Warm and herbaceous, CPTG Certified Pure Tested Grade® Thyme essential oil contains thymol, a chemical constituent that preclinical studies indicate may support skin health and oral hygiene. Because of its high thymol content, Thyme essential oil should always be diluted with a carrier oil before topical application.

Directions for Use
Aromatic use: Place three to four drops of Thyme essential oil in the diffuser of your choice.

Internal Use: Dilute one drop of Thyme oil in four fluid ounces of water.

Topical use:Dilute one drop of Thyme essential oil with 10 drops of carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.
